Vehicles vandalised in Frampton and Coalpit Heath

Between Friday 5th May and Friday 12th May,  the Frampton Cotterell police beat has received 19  reported cases of criminal damage to vehicles - tyres being slashed overnight  using a small bladed article, perhaps a Stanley knife.

Damage has been caused in the following areas.
  • Beesmoor Road- Frampton Cotterell
  • Station Road - Coalpit Heath
  • Lower Chapel Lane -  Frampton Cotterell
  • Meadow View - Frampton Cotterell
  • The Close - Coalpit Heath
  • Brookside Drive - Frampton Cotterell
  • Rectory Road- Frampton Cotterell
  • Watermore Close- Frampton Cotterell
The total damage is now more than £2000. There were previous incidents of criminal damage in Frampton Cotterell and Coalpit Heath in March.

10 vehicles had either their windows smashed, side mirrors hit off or their tyres slashed. This damage has had not only a financial impact on the victims but also emotional, causing one elderly victim to suffer a fall, because she was unable to use her vehicle. 

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any more information regarding these incidents to contact the police or report anonymousely via Crimestoppers. If you have been a victim of criminal damage too please report it via 101.
