Clearing leaf fall
From Monday 5th November, South Glos Council's Street Care team will be concentrating on clearing leaf fall rather than routine street sweeping. Falling leaves
From today (Monday 26th October) South Glos Council will be suspending their routine mechanical sweeping programme in order to divert the sweepers to clearing leaf fall. They are starting this earlier than usual as they are expecting the wet and windy weather over the weekend to lead to significant leaf fall this week. The situation will be reviewed in mid-November.The sweepers will be targeting known problem areas and also responding to reports from the public. If you come across any streets requiring leaf clearance, you can report them to the Street Care Helpdesk on 01454 868000 or e-mail streetcare@southglos.gov.uk
