Another update on the "Westerleigh smell"
Wessex Water say that there was a fault with the level control system at the Kidney Hill pumping station and it was pumping continuously. They planned to fix this on Monday afternoon. They are also hoping to install odour monitors in the sewer later this week to confirm the dosing of the new dosing system is effective at stopping smells from the pumping station discharge.
