From 2-3pm, the Centre for Sustainable Energy will be holding a workshop on the future of energy supplies in Westerleigh village. Communities around the country are setting up renewable energy schemes which help them save fuel costs, protect the environment and potentially generate an income that can be used on community projects. This is particularly important in villages like Westerleigh where there is no mains gas, forcing people to use expensive alternatives. If you think this is something you might like to be involved in or you are just curious about the possibilities, do come along.
From 3-4.30pm there will be a drop-in exhibition where you can get advice on making your home more energy efficient and generating renewable electricity.
